Meh... too easy.

My favorite thing to do is pick a small team in a league other than England, Spain, or Italy and see how far you as a manager can go. I've gone from St. Ettiene to Dortmund to Sevilla to Barcelona before.

You know, I've always wanted to do that and stick with it.

Probably my favorite save and longest lasting, was in FM07 when I started unemployed and got a job offer from Swansea in Leage 1 I think and god them promoted to the championship in the first season, then had them in first in the championship halfway through the season before i got an offer from unerachieving Everton in the premier, I took that job at midseason and ended up getting them relegated and I resigned before they could can me and shockingly got a job offer from Man United, who I stayed with until the save got corrupted. lol

I just don't know enough lower league players to have any cifidence and I'm easily frustrated. lol.

But I've always thought about trying a game as Juve Stabia or whatever their name is. Maybe I'll give it a go next save.

btw, Swansea ended up getting promoted to the EPL the year I left, so they went from L1 to ERPL in two seasons, and they remained a mid-table EPL team for the entire save, and I was playing that one for like 9 or 10 seasons I think.

I +rep you for that

In FM08 I brought Pescara from C2 to Serie A and on the 5th or 6th season we qualified to the UEFA cup

right now in FM09 I'm trying the same with Cagliari (who hired me when they were struggling in B)

This game is so easy with big teams. I always start off as Juve to begin with, but quickly get bored and end up in some obscure job just for the challenge. In my first season at Juve I won the Scudetto and CL (bombed out of the Coppa with the reserves) and had an application for the Brazil job accepted. After one season, ridiculous.

I'm going to try to get my hometown club Coventry back to the PL after one more season, looks like they are going to drop down to League 1 right now. Then maybe off to Australia or something, otherwise it gets boring.

Just brought Lecce up to Serie A last night, trying to get a tactic for low skill teams, which is hell in 2010
4-1-2-1-2 (defensive, not the diamnod one) or 4-1-2-2-1 (which is 4-3-3 defensive)
And make everything "Standard" with a deep defensive line and counter attack

This game is damn easy and boring with strong teams, playing in lower divisions is the real challenge, and I seriosuly can't imagine how sega made that game, it takes 10 years of work to gather all the information for football players in the whole world

Yeah but they only have to add about 15000 players a year
