I play 4-3-3 with Seba and Gourcuff on the wings, and Aguero as an advanced striker, but I noticed he plays a lot better behind a striker of Amauri/Iaquinta/Trezeguet type

so when I'm a goal down or something, I send one of them in and take out the DMC, and play Aguero as an AMC, it works fine

Does anyone know how do I improve the mental attributes of a young boy?

I saw an article on FM fan page the other day about sending players on loan, and what do you have to look for in the club you send the player to, turns out it makes a huge difference and I didn't know that..

Poor guy, both the poster and dude with the name. :D

To those that play Aguero, what role do you guys use him in?
I play him and dzeko as advanced forwards, i sometimes play aguero as a support and dzeko as a target man. I need a replacement for gigi for the primavera, any tips?

Anyone want to know how low i was driven yesterday? having gotten to 35 mil and porto not selling me hulk, and getting to 100 + diego and real not selling me higuan i was forced to sign some 'older strikers', henry wouldnt agree to a lower contract as back up and i ended up with drogba. ADP, Aguero and Dzeko are all injured and i dont have anyone in the primavera i can call up. Happened after i won the italian super cup, ac destroyed Dzeko (broken arm) and Aguero (broken leg) adp got injured a few weeks before. So my only striker atm is drogba. i got him for 2 mil so i cant really complain, hes worth 4.

Got Altidore from Villarreal for 1.5 million in the 11/12 season and in ther 12/13 season he's scored 20 goals in all comps, mostly playing in cup games and as a sub for Dzeko, Villarreal came back with a 10m offer for him which was promptly rejected.

Buy Jozy, he's a good cheap striker in this game.

complete forward, attack when he's a striker.

attacking midfielder attck when he's an AMC.

I know most say its a waste, but he usually plays as an AMC when I have my full strength Chelsea side.

He's behind Dzeko - Hulk, he's utlra attacking role basically has him playing as a forward anyways, so its almost a trident, and it's pretty much unstoppable.

Best way to improve mental stats is to have him tutored by an experienced player with similar temperment (determined, fairly determined, etc) or to get him competitive match experience with your first team or on loan.

What I do is offer a player to other clubs on a loan deal, hopefully you get offers in the coming days, but I only accept the offers that say the player will be a valuable member of the first team. Never accept offers that say the player will be used as depth or whatever it exactly says.

If you dont get any offers then the only other real option is to send the player to a feeder club and monitor his progress once he gets there. if he's not getting playing time then you should bring him back and have him training at your better youth facilities and being tutored by a player from your first team instead of wasting valuable months sitting on the bench at some shitty 2nd or 3rd division club.

Hope this helps.

Any of you lot in the habit of starting the game unemployed?

It makes things more challenging and you end up coaching some different clubs.

I'm currently manager of FSV Frankfurt and chasing promotion to the Bundesliga.

I tried that before. I got turned down by all sorts of useless clubs and national teams all over the world before Stuttgart (who were still in the Bundesliga) hired me.

At the moment I'm managing Galway United though.

I think the only limitation is that the Welsh teams can't qualify for Europe.

They can play in whatever league and win anything, but just can't take a European place.

After all, Swansea played in the top division in the 80's and Cardiff played in a FA Cup final a couple of years ago.

I may just be talking bollocks, though.

Actually yes you are :D

As the FA reached a decision to allow Cardiff to participate in the UEFA Cup had they won the FA Cup final against Portsmouth that year.

And I may have taken your post too seriously there.

From wiki:

In recent years, with Cardiff on the verge of a place in the Premier league, doubts have been cast on the opportunities for Welsh clubs playing in the Football League to qualify for European competitions. The FA had previously stated that they would not nominate Cardiff for a place in Europe should they earn one on the grounds that they don't have the option. However their words were contradicted by a UEFA spokesman saying that Cardiff could play in Europe as European countries are allowed to nominate teams even if they don't play within its boundaries, UEFA president Michel Platini later pledged his support to Cardiff should the FA refuse them entry to European competition, commenting: "If England don't do anything, we will."[15]

Following Platini's statement the FA announced that they would be reviewing their stance on the situation.[16] UEFA also commented on the possibility of the club being given a wild card entry into Europe,[17] but the FA eventually backed down from their previous statement and confirmed that it would allow the club to play in Europe should they win the FA Cup final.[18] However, Cardiff lost the FA Cup final 1–0 against Portsmouth, who hadn't already won a qualification place.
