how stupied is this... LOOK how many players i have injured!!!!!
Probably because you give your players injections to be fit for the next game or when you leave them to physio when they've got viruses which could affect others if you dont send him home.

I dont have any injury problems, because i never give them injections and always send them home if they've got a disease.

How's Massimo Bonnani doing for you?

A problem that is creeping up, and something that is frustrating a lot of players is the comebacks the opposition are making in FM2006.

I've been fortunate that when playing the game I've fielded a team that makes it near impossible for the other team to get a sniff of a draw never mind a dramatic fight back in the last 5 minutes. But why does it happen to others?

In FM2006, I've noticed that when you are leading a game, around about the 70-75th minute mark, the AI will alter it's tactics. More often than not it is with the intention of scoring a goal, and it is fairly effective. Against my team I went almost 20 games without a clean sheet conceding a goal late on in the game. It becomes frustrating (although in a wicked way it kept my wages down as my goalie couldn't collect his Clean Sheet bonus after the match!). So is it a bug?

The jury is out with this at the moment. It's possible that the AI is too clever and exploits weaknesses in your tactics far too easily. It is also possible that FM2006 is more for the tactically minded and patient gamers than it used to be.

In previous games, you could download a tactic and destroy teams with ease. 10 seasons could pass without you even tweaking a team instruction and the opposition would struggle to know what your goalkeeper would look like never mind what it feels like to score against you.

Times change though, and the game has evolved a heck of a lot. You can't rely on a solitary tactic to take you through your career. If you did you'll end up like some of the high profile managers of today, weaknesses cruelly exposed, your team struggling to get results.

If you are like me and find a formation and stick to it then prepare for the worst. I still have the mindset of a CM3 player. Training doesn't exist, I have one tactic that I believe will give me the advantage over anyone that dares oppose me, and the AI is still shoddy. This is not the case in FM2006.

To stop comebacks, you now need to tinker with your tactics. If you are in a Champions League final, 2-0 up with 15 minutes then do what real life managers do. Defend like there is no tomorrow! The days of pressing for a fantastic 12-0 victory are over.

The AI will realise that there isn't much time left and will try to attack harder to get something out of the game. To counter this you obviously can't leave yourself exposed at the back, you need to tighten it up. Thwart their attempts at getting near your goal. Change your passing style to keep the ball. Possession is nine tenths of winning a game (or something like that).

Yes games will take longer, yes it might backfire if you make an error of judgement (don't play everyone behind the ball, that's just asking for trouble) but to stop the opposition you are going to need to stay one step ahead.

You want FM to be as realistic as possible. Real life managers do it. And so you must do it also. It's uncomplicated logic. There is no point complaining about comebacks in games if all you do is sit back and watch it happening.

The new Quick Tactics option in the game is an ideal opportunity to watch what changes the other team makes. Tactics are like a game of chess. He makes a move, then you move to counter it. And like a game of chess, it takes patience to learn to master and stay a step ahead.

this is really true..the game has really evolved a lot and, tough more buggy with every new release, is becoming more and more difficult. cm3 series was far more easier, things have really changed.
