Playing Milan in an afternoon match on their home ground gives me back the memory of that Trezegoal goal with the magnificent Alex assist that won us the 28th title :touched:

Lets beat those motherfuckers two weeks from now.

Doesn't matter. Beating Milan and Inter is always a good thing. At least we can end on a high.
No doubt. But you can't imagine how much I want this season to end. I would rather not play Milan and finish with this season then to watch a useless Milan-Juve game.

One huge  for all 10 players who made it to the last list of top 10 goal+assist.
But special mention to those who average more than one goal/assist per match.

Messi with 1.21 goal/assist per match
Ronaldo with 1.18 goal/assist per match

Fabregas with 1.04 goal/assist per match
Higuain with 1.03 goal/assist per match

And if we expand this to all the competitions they've played in this year (Including Cup and CL), then you'll see that 4 of them have really been amazing this year everywhere they played.

    1. Ronaldo 32 goals and 7 assists on 33 matches (1.18 goal/assist per match)
    2. Messi 44 goals and 10 assists on 51 matches (1.06 goal/assist per match)

I wonder, if we will have players like them in future like we had in past.

Well, players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi don't come too often. You have to go 10 generations before Cristiano Ronaldo to find the Brazilian Ronaldo and then Zidane and before him Maradona.
Maybe Ronaldinho can be added into the mixture.

So it's like 5-6 such players in almost 30 generations. It's luck to be the first one from the big teams who scouts them and gets them and the other chance to have them is money. If you noticed, all of them played in either Real or Barca. The former had the money and the latter had the scouts.

It's insane how Lampard is constantly overlooked for English player of the year. When consistantly year in and year out he always at the top(or thereabouts) of the charts.

Even more so since Chelsea are on course to win the league this year.

Fletcher got in the PFA team of the year, when he is something like 3+6, it says it all. I like Fletcher and he works really hard and is a big game player, but you can't ignore Lampard.

    Capello ideal Mourinho replacement

Inter President Massimo Moratti would approach England manager Fabio Capello if Jose Mourinho leaves this summer, according to La Stampa.

Mourinho has made no secret of his dislike for Italian football and was ambiguous about his future after last night's victory in the Coppa Italia Final.

He has been strongly linked with Real Madrid who also wanted him last summer, only for the Special One to turn them down and use their interest to get a pay rise.

Five years ago, Capello admitted that Moratti wanted him and also revealed that he advised Inter to sign Patrick Vieira and Zlatan Ibrahimovic after Calciopoli.

La Stampa believes that Capello will be available again after the World Cup this summer and that Inter have the wherewithal to lure him away from London.

Capello currently earns €8.28m a season and has two years left on his contract.

Given Mourinho has a €12m salary, Capello would even allow Moratti to make a saving.

I would prefer Capello return to Turin personally

Off topic, but I think I will stop attacking the serie A refs. They don't give yellow cards to players for dying.

"A Croatian footballer booked for diving had actually dropped dead of a heart attack.

Goran Tunjic, a 32-year-old defender playing for the Mladost FC, collapsed in the 35th minute of the County League match against Hrvatski Sokola, prompting the referee to approach the player with yellow card in his hand.

Tragically, however, the player had suffered a fatal heart attack.

The official quickly realised what had happened and called for medical aid, but Tunjic died despite being rushed to a nearby hospital.

"Doctors tried to help him but there was nothing they could do," a club spokesman said of the player, who had no previous medical problems. "

"He just fell dead on the spot."
