I don't see the link.

Lazio wanted their own team to lose a match.

Juve, last time I checked, are not playing in the CL Final and so their fans do not have such a direct interest in it.

And Inter winning being good for the league is highly debatable.

To all of you guys bashing Lazio for cheering for Inter, is what they did any different to what you guys are doing now? I mean if Inter don't beat Bayern, Juventus WILL suffer tremendously as the league would officially become second tier and the club will lose money. You would rather see you team fall further into mediocrity than to see Inter win. Can someone tell me exactly what the difference is their except for the fact that Lazio had nothing to play for and those same fans were attacked by Roma fans just a month prior.

Right now if I were in Juve's position, or in fact any team in Italy's position I would be praying Inter wins it.. as personally I wanna watch Serie A games. With the league falling lower than Bundesliga we call can: 1) Get used to seeing as may Serie A games on TV as we see Bundesliga games now. 2) Say adios to big summers filled with multiple 25+ million dollars signings. 3) Bid adieu to any possibility of World Class players coming to this league to any team but Inter and to a lesser extent Milan and start saying hello to big summer signings comprising of the capture of Catania's Maxi Lopez. Hate it or like it guys, and I'm sure you hate it, Italy needs Inter to win.

Because if they don't, I honestly don't see how Italy will be able to recover.
Meh. I agree somewhat which is why I am supporting Inter in the CL final. But tbh this link you are trying to make is quite a stretch.

What you say is kinda similar, but not the same.
The difference is that they were watching their team play and cheered against their team.

Italy winning the WC in 2006 and Milan winning the CL in 2007 didn't really prevent serie A's fail. There is no guarantee at all that Italy losing the 3rd place will change anything. Actually, if Italy don't lose the third place now, they will surely lose it next year because if you check the coefficient you will see that the Germans will start with quite big 5 pts advantage next season (which equals around 18 wins more from the Italian teams than what the Germans will win). Inter's win will only prolong the defeat in the third place battle for a year.

The problems in Italy are from a different nature, among which the big taxes, bad stadiums, bad marketing, fan violence and low attendances are the main problems. If that's fixed than the league and it's tradition and reputation will get back to the old level.

Don't you guys think it would be nice for a change to have an Inter fans perspective on things?

I don't understand all the hostility.
Nope, do we go to Inter forums and say such antagonising comments? I see no reason for him to be here only to gloat. Where were the Roma and Inter fans on this forum years back when Juventus were sucessful? as soon as Juventus have a terrible season they all come out of the woodwork.

I do find their perspective interesting. It's funny.

They do these mental gymnastics to paint themselves as a victim when in reality they got off scott free. I was hoping he would respond again.

But alas, he probably pissed off to go write in his faggy diary about how unfair the world is, just like Fachetti.

How is my comments supposed to be an attack to anyone? What was I supposed to to say Massimo Moratti? Moggi is the reason Juve are in this state and he's being punished for his actions with a lifetime ban.

The last thing I would want to do here is disrupt the harmony of this place. Although I hardly post here I do love this place and reading the comments here.
