Honestly though, although I love Pato and I think he will be one of the best players if not the bes in a few years, I think 55 million + Benzema is an amazing deal. It would probably have a Zidane to Real or Ibrahimovic to Barcelona type of effect on their team. 120 million(For Pato and Kaka last year) in a year + Benzema is a crazy good deal for Milan. Now they could easily rebuild their team and sign a bunch of top class players for their team. After all, for their 4-3-3, they are really in need of a goalkeeper, two fullbacks, at least one new central midfielder, and a right winger.

Just for fun:

Lloris

Zambrotta - Nesta - Thiago Silva - Tremoulinas

Yaya Toure - Pirlo
Gourcuff

Krasic - Benzema - Ronaldinho

My god, that team is intimidating.

But then again, this is still Milan we're talking about and they would probably sell him, keep the money, sign a few oldies and scream that they don't have any money at all.

that won't work

players will no longer want to come to italy, and why would gourcoff come back to ac milan after how they treated him?
Pato is someone to rebuild with and is was more valuable than kaka imo. If he leaves then Milan are done for, it's not like they spent the money they got from kaka.

Give it 5 years Serie A is going to be with the Portuguese league. The world class players will be in spain, germany and england. I wouldn't be surprised if the french over take too.

Having said that if I was pato I'd leave ac milan. The guy has the potential to be one of the best players ever, but to become one you need to play for the right teams. Obviously ac milan's management don't care about the club anymore and so i'd leave if i was him. Not to real madrid tho, there also run by idiots. I'd go to somewhere like chelsea or barcelona.

PS

what happened to the new league that broke away from serie B? I thought it was gonna take place next season? Is it still going ahead?

How come?
Please explain it to us again, because it wasn't explained 84 times already in these last months.
I like grumpy sarcastic Alen.

Much better than the previous Alen who was always willing to help out with stats or explain things for the 43rd time that week.

I hate it when they put games in Fridays.

What happened today, did i miss a good game?
No, Mourinho won.

Or, it was a physical and fiery game with Inter dominating but few real chances for either team. Milito messed up a lot of chances. I think they achieved what they wanted, 3 points with little effort.

Maicon's goal worth watching.
