For those of you making a big deal out of the Totti thing, not a fan of kind of character he shows too much, but talk about overblowing it. Yeah its bit odd to suggest things to the coach, but seeing the game, and seeing Menez, I totally get it.

And Ranieri confirmed what Totti said, could of guessed by body language and seeing Menez, but Ranieri said Totti told him he just heard the ref tell Menez he will be sent off next time he dived. Menez had laughably dived 3 times in few minues, and was lucky to not be sent off on the last one when Ref said the above. Totti informed Ranieri of this and suggested him instead before he sent off (Menez, cant think of a more inconsistent player, awesome 1 day, ridicolously diving and useless cunt the next). Ranieri listened to that.

But yeah it shows a peculiar relationship between coach and player, and what Totti means to Roma and the standing he has. But the very reason it was done is totally understandable (the fucker would defenitely been sent off, nothing but awful dives).

This does not make any sense at all.

And you were the one with loudest voice.
I remember you saying even when he was with us that even if he wins something he will be looser etc. I guess it was for stupid subs, 442 - even he plays now all kind of tactical systems
And rightfully so. He can win everything in the world for all I care, firing him was the only right decision our board made in their history with Juventus.

You know Osman, subbing Menez WAS the right decision. He didn't even play well and it was surprising to me to see that it was Totti who was going to go out of the pitch but it still doesn't justify what Ranieri did. It was shocking for the watchers, for the fans in the stadium and of course for the players. Why didn't Totti say about it to Ranieri RIGHT at the time he heard what the ref told Menez? If it was another player except Totti who was about to go out would Totti have still informed Ranieri about the ref-Menez incident? I don't understand why would someone defend such a behavior from Totti and most importantly from the coach, Ranieri.

What was this incident about with totti menez and ranieri?
Ranieri wanted to sub Brighi for Totti and when the linesmen showed the numbers on his screen. Totti came back to Ranieri telling him he should replace Menez instead of him, Which ranieri did.

Honestly no matter what excuses people will have for this i just find it beyond embarrassing. If i were a Roma player after that move i wouldn't have any respect for Ranieri, None.

how embarrassing is when your director get locked in toilet by player, and he still stays for whole year in club, refuse to be sold or loaned until one year later.

I guess its embarrassing or just funny

what kind of logic is this ?

i like to give a metaphore here ...

you want to compare me to a professional biker athlete ...someone who does really make long distances with his bike.

we only got one bike and i will take the bike and run full speed ... for 1 km ... than i will crash with full speed against a wall. the bike is totally wrecked .. the wheels are not perfectly round anymore the steering "wheel" is lose and the breaks are pressed against one wheel so you gotta fight against that while driving.

now i give the wrecked bike to the athlete that does usually run 10km easily on the bike and tell him to use it .... oh what ? he is barely able to keep the balance on that wrecked bike for 10 meters without falling and he is surely much slower than i was (until that accident) ....

great, following your logic i am the better bike driver ... because i was faster ...

you can not compare ciro who took over an intact team with a working system, with zacch if he got the wrecked non functional team we had in the winter break that even did not train properly for half a year.
Are you really trying to say that Zacc is better than Ferrara :howler:

Thank you Jack
I can't check IPs, I stepped down from my moderator role.

Then if you have been here, why is it only now that Roma are leading Serie A that you started posting? Or better yet gloating because that's what you've been doing since you "had more time on your hands".

Nice site, I didn't understand anything though.
