get over it with "we could have gotten him for peanuts" because back then none of you cried for him...
I hadn't registered back then, and to be honest I think I would have wanted an 18 (17 when he debuted in Serie A, how many players do that) year old who had been performing at Brescia.

i gotta agree that my view of hamsik (in terms of not showing up) might not be sensible to you, because you only look for the players that score, but popping up once per game being in the right position to score a goal might be a great feat for a poacher, but i personally rate midfielders that work the whole game and are visible the whole time ... is trezeguet a good midfielder, because he could pop up once a few games and score a goal ?
I don't look for midfielders that just score at all, don't get that impression, I look for strikers who score. I only brought up that stat because he has an impressive tally for a midfielder. This time with Hamsik, I always see him imposing himself upon opposition defenses, and he's making midfielders and defenders think a lot. Always makes calm passes and he allows Quagliarella and Lavezzi have freedom.

i am curious why you post that now, because in terms of shooting and passing he had a pretty bad game today ... already counted more than 5 easy misplaced passes
Fair enough on today, I'm not watching, but from what I've seen he is absolutely vital to Napoli. Don't underestimate his shooting.

lets just agree that he would not have seen much playing time in juve and he would not have been debuted so early with any mid-table serie a club, because you know how the italian way of youngsters is...

its just natural, that teams that do not have proven players anyway will HAVE to set all their cards on young players ... but give those teams some experienced serie a proven player on the same position and see the youngster rot on the bench ;)
