The plan to introduce a 12.30 local time kick-off in Serie A next season is in place, announced Lega Calcio President Maurizio Beretta.

“We will also play on Sunday at 12.30 and there is a slot for a Friday evening kick-off when teams are taking part in the UEFA competitions the following week.

“Monday, for now, is reserved for Serie B,” he told Radio Anch’Io Sport.

There have already been experiments with a lunchtime match this term, when Inter beat Chievo 1-0 at the Bentegodi on January 6.

“There will be windows, such as Friday evening, which will not be fixed but help teams who are competing in Europe.

“I think this is an element that can help Italian sides remove their handicap when it comes to fatigue in these tournaments.

“This season we’ve seen games against outfits that had a more comfortable fixture list. It is also an extra service for the television viewer, who has greater versatility in his product.”

In Italy every single Serie A match is available on pay-per-view television, both satellite and terrestrial.

The current fixture list has Saturday kick-offs at 18.00 and 20.45 local time, a Sunday evening game at 20.45 and the rest at 15.00 on Sunday afternoon.

The Lega Calcio also confirmed the Italian Super Cup will be played in China for the next three seasons.

The referees assigned to Serie A and B will be split into two divisions. “We could also loan officials to Serie B for particularly tricky games. The group changes each year with promotions and exits.”

I think they're trying to copy the EPL next season and its a shame to play in such an early time as it means having to miss much more games for the ones who work/study on Sunday and Saturday.

Won't really affect Juve as they won't be in Europe

They asked him if the CL win was Mourinho's and he replied no, it's the club that won. :p
The face he pulls when he says that too is hiiiiiiilarious :D Here's video of the interview:

And article:

Mario Balotelli enjoyed the gift of a Milan jersey and pointed out “it was the team that won at Stamford Bridge, not Jose Mourinho.”

The Inter striker has been frozen out for over a week following a row with his Coach, although the reasons behind it are unclear.

“Why am I not playing? There’s no point asking me, you need to ask those who are higher up,” he told comedy show Striscia La Notizia.

“I don’t know, maybe the other players are just stronger than I am.”

Some reports suggest he celebrated when Milan – the side he supported as a child – closed the gap on the leaders to one point.

With this in mind, the television crew gave him the gift of a Rossoneri jersey with his name, which he held up to his chest with a broad grin.

He then pulled it on and checked himself out in the mirror wearing the shirt of Inter’s great rivals.

When the presenter told Balotelli that the fact he was frozen out and yet Inter still beat Chelsea in the Champions League made it a victory for Mourinho, he was unimpressed.

“Whose victory was it?! No way, it was the team that won at Stamford Bridge, not Mourinho.”

I'll tell you what, folks from around the world always laugh at American soccer, but the MLS could teach the Italians a thing or two about stadiums. Even the little minnow club New York Red Bulls have a new state-of-the-art stadium that they built only 14 years after they were founded. Red Bulls Arena has a similar but smaller design to that of the Allianz in Munich, built for around $200M.

Not to mention the fact that the new expansion club the Philadelphia Union has their own football-specific stadium... and it's their first season.

So if the Americans who know nothing about the game can build some new stadiums, surely Serie A clubs can at least improve theirs.

Your league, and I don't mean to "engage" you with this, is an artificial one. It's pumped up with money to make it more attractive to the fans. The investments made have all been due to that. Some stadiums in Qatar are better than Italian ones. This is a proper league where money goes to a lot of places, not to mention players who's wages are a number of times bigger as compared to the MLS. It's not really fair to compare the two.

All that said, this league, as well as our team, needs an overhaul. But that won't happen. EPL has probably snatched up everything.
