If we could get him for 12-15 million plus a player then I would sign him no doubt, but for 20 million straight cash thats a no go. I'm quite interested to see how he will go on at the World Cup with no supporting striker behind him, I do think this could be Italys undoing. Italy cannot play two big target men because the midfield is not creative enough.

I don't think he will start at the World Cup, Gilardino and Iaquinta are first in line. Would be harsh to rate him based on the world cup if Lippi doesn't want to try and call up a good creative player.

12-15 sounds reasonable if other better (there's like 5 out there who we could get) targets aren't available. Lucky for us that Bosnia didn't qualify in a way, but all the other good ones look like they're going to South Africa (Suarez, Fabiano etc).
