Del Piero can piss on the field, can play handball, dive 10x per 5min, make a sandwish while the game is on, this man can do anything he wants and we shouldn't be complaining.
Ah but of course, if i were a Juve fan i would accept him diving after 13 years of quality service. I wouldn't turn my back on him or change my mind about him. Nobody is doubting the mans greatness at all. Just trying to argue that he is human.

Yeah, but "rarely" doesn't equal "never". Zlatan on the other hand... he never dives.
I'm not sure if i would use never, as you don't know what might happen in the future. But i dont think i've ever seen him dive. If he stayed in Italy for a bit longer, he could have learnt a few tricks, thank god he left.

Man, can you imagine that honesty and sportmanship? The dude played 5 years in the mother country of diving and yet he never dove.

So true. Even DP couldn't resist the temptation of diving here and there. Thats how much of a cheating culture there is in Italy.

Dawg, he went to Spain. That's where all the best schools for the performing arts are (to use Mourinho's metaphor :)) But it's weird, I never realised that Zlatan doesn't dive. He definitely seems like the kind to be a chronic diver. I can say that, because, I too, am a wonderful diver.

Bah, that's like scoring while being offside. It doesn't even count. By not diving he's showing his sportmanship. That's something Italians will never do or understand.
Because they don't consider it cheating, to them its basically sort of street smarts. Its like the systematic fouling or the professional fouling you see in Italy more than anywhere in the world and you don't see people complaining about it but actually applauding it. When there is a potential counter attack more often that not you'd see them fouling to stop it, you say cheating others say its being smart.

And the DP penalty was legit. He didn't dive, if anything its was outside the box more than anything.

I thought so too... Until I saw him trip on his own feet. I don't think even he realised that he tripped on his own feet... But thats what happened...

Which places get you CL spot?
and which of the places means straight to the group stage and which means 3rd round

I know it was 1st and 2nd straight and 3rd and 4th 3rd round but has it changed?

some may call this play offside, depending on how you view the rule. Del Piero wasn't touched and went down.

-----

And if any wanted to know if Zlatan dives he has been booked for diving. It happened last season when Inter played Siena. (Replays showed there to be actual contact {which again can be diving if a play acts on the play showing that there is more contact than actually felt} if there's medium contact and you fall to the ground as if you got shot is that diving? or does diving only exist if there's no contact?) He also dove about twice in his first season at Inter.

Don't be silly you and Fred. No player never dives. Not necessarily in the penalty area they all dive, they can dive anywhere on the pitch.
