Antonio Cassano Has Suspected Hernia
Antonio Cassano could be out for the long term with a suspected hernia problem.
According to Cittadigenova.it, the Sampdoria playmaker has a sportsmans hernia and he could be out for longer than expected.
He has not played since the 1-1 draw with Catania last month after suffering from a groin problem he sustained in training.
Sampdoria have not confirmed the reports, but he is likely to miss the clash against Inter on February 20 as well as this weekend's match with Fiorentina at the Marassi.
Meanwhile, Stefano Lucchini has signed a two-year extension with the club.
"Finally we have done it, and I would like to thank the club for giving me this chance," he told the club's official website.
