Sadly he is succeeding with them on a great level. Why wasn't he like this with Juve?!!

anyhow.. secondo posto goes to Roma I guess..
To give him some credit his first season here and the first half of last season were quite good, espicially looking back in hindsight.

I do think roma is the perfect environment for him, he loves that club and understands it perfectly. I hope his unbeaten run ends some time soon though...

Ranieri is a good fit for Roma and vice versa. Never a champion, but good enough to look good. That would never cut it for Juve, even if these days we'll just take a win every month.

Just because he got fired from Juve doesn't make him crap. But then what would I know, I'm a known delusional Ranieri lover.
Glad to see you admit that, because you are.

If Ranieri wasn't a loser, he would have won something by now. After managing Chelsea, Juve and Valencia, he's got nothing, and deserved to be removed from us.

He won't win anything with Roma either.

He's a decent manager. Not a crap manager. There's a difference you know.

Does bringing the 10th Coppa to Roma count as a win? Because he's with one foot in the final. :D

Anyway, I don't care who or what is doing with Roma. I care about Juve winning the 4th place and Fiorentina losing tonight was the best option for us. Those of you who wanted Fiorentina to win tonight should have checked the standings first. Or is your hate for Ranieri bigger than your love for Juve?
Now I hope Milan will also beat, or at least draw with Fiorentina.

I don't really agree with your assessment. I'd much rather have Roma start on a path of poor results. We have a far better chance of qualifying if the likes of Milan and Roma start slipping up, even if we are a couple wins behind them. Now we're just two more points behind Roma, so it doesn't do us any good either.

Frankly, it doesn't even matter. We just need to get our own act together and stop worrying about everybody else.

Why not Fiorentina or Catania? :shifty:
The latter is already eliminated while the other will be eliminated very soon :shifty:

And I agree with Andy here. If we start performing well, there should be no worries for us coming from the likes of Fiorentina, Cagliari, Genoa or Napoli. If we go on playing like this though, we won't have any chance to get a CL spot even if our respective contenders have one or two losses once in a while.

Yeah, but i'd much rather Inter and Milan lose every single match till the end of the season and miss out on CL.
Unfortunately, it's not about what we want, it's about the odds of something happening.
Right now we can be happy if we win the 4th place and for that, we'll need to worry about teams like Fiorentina, Napoli, Palermo, not about Milan, Roma or Inter.
