No-one, but without Dinho (and even with Mancini in the team) is it useful at all to play a front 3?

I don't see much difference in quality between these two formations:

Beckham-Pirlo-Ambrosini
Seedorf
Pato Borriello

Beckham-Pirlo-Ambrosini
Pato Borriello Mancini
But they started the season with the 4-4-2 diamond, and it didn't really work out that well for them, despite the fact that they've been using it forever before Leonardo came. Their run of good form coincided with them moving to a 4-3-3.

Nah, it's all Ronaldinho, and partly Nesta. I doubt it has to do much with the formation.
They've been conceding and losing points regularly without Nesta and i'm pretty sure that if they keep the 4-3-3 without Dinho, it will be just as bad as it was at the start of the season.

Anyway, even Berlusconi is against this transfer, so lets end this debate :D

He is against the transfer, and i understand why a lot of people are against this transfer. because ideally when you make an acquisition in the transfer market, it should be one that gives an addition to the team. The Mancini acquisition was just for the sake of squad depth.

Now we can debate the merits of the 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 tactics all day. But fact of the matter is Leonardo prefers playing with the 4-3-3, it doesn't look like he's going to revert to the diamond midfield anytime soon, so in order for him not to be forced to change the formation in case Ronaldinho is injured, he bought Mancini. In that sense i believe it is a very logical signing.

did you see javier zanettis run just before the goal ? thats what i call a steamroller ... he is as old as del piero, but did actually outrun the defender WITH the ball on the foot. did not know that he was that fast

It's only 9 minutes into the match but Inter play great with Pandev successfully replacing Sneijder as a trequartista.
I must admit that I've never seen them move the ball so well and move excellently off the ball as they're doing this year.

Mourinho did a fantastic job with this team.

Now lets see if they can do the same in Europe or they'll choke as they always do.
