an even younger Coach managed to do the treble last season
So? And you think that Ciro will win it with these players and his poor tactics. Pep simply got lucky by having the right Barca at the right time.

Save Buffon and probably Chiellini, can you can you name one player that on this team that would start for Barca?

What a cocky manager Mourinho is. He always finds a way to throw shit at us.

"When we double the lead, the match was over" Exactly the opposite to what we did yesterday.

As soon as our key players go missing we suck and knowing our injury department we will mostly have key players injured all season long.
I still have high hopes for getting used to our new system. We're playing with lone striker for the first time after 7 years or so. We lack something though and hopefully we'll get better. Our match against Inter can change a lot if we stop wasting points.

And btw, when was the last time Mourinho lost at home? 7 years ago? :shifty:

yes, I still believe Ciro will deliver for us...we need to iron out the mistakes that are creeping into our play, other than that, the core squad is good enough to beat anyone

So who here still hopes/thinks scudetto is possible?
I'm ever more sceptical based on our inconsistency, nothing to do with a measly 7 pts. I mean, FFS Inter dropped a 12 pt lead to a measly 1 pt in last years last 2 months season ending, Roma were scudetto champs for first half in the last round. So less worry about 7 pts, and more on our shaping up.

How long will it take then? Because I remember starting teh season with 4 wins in a row and everyone was singing Scudetto, Scudetto. Then a few draws and losses and Inter are 7 points ahead. Inter right now are 7 points ahead without being at full strength and have beaten teams comprehensively that Juve have drawn/lost to.

By the times Ciro iron out the team it will definitely be way too late for the Scudetto but just in time for the 4th UCL spot.

And you think Mourinho will allow that to happen?

you do realise that we are still in November? and just as quickly as things have gone worse, they can just as easily go right again as well...A 7 point is not very worrisome at this point in the season, it is waaaay too early to start freaking out...what has to be rectified is the way we are making dumbass mistakes that cost us the game

It's always good to get ahead early and its even worse to be trailing early especially if you don't even have that good a driver (coach) or a good enough car (players) or even worse enough gas (depth) to get to the finish line.

Inter > Juve in all of these categories and are even gonna get better when they add Pandev in the Winter.

Inter have always had a better squad than Juve, barring the Capello years...they've always had the better set of strikers, a better, more varied MF and a brilliant collection of defenders...but that didn't count for shit as we ruled the roost season after season...so that aspect of the teams is not too much of a worry for me...what I am concerned about is how we cope when so many of our fundamental players are missing

Tell that to the team that used to hoof up balls to camel face and hope for goals.
True. Which is one reason I wonder how Inter will handle their bad patch of form, which they will at some point. (And somewhere besides the CL, where they are already in poor form.)

What do you mean? Why would that make you wonder? I think they're better equipped to deal with it as they're more dynamic and not dependent on the form of 2 or 3 players like last season.

Never been worried about Inter. They are a shit ass club that have one of the worst mentalities out there. Once we hit our right form and restore our "old winning mentality" in the league Inter will return to be a fucked up club that they've always been.

Perhaps its gonna take time but it will happen eventually , lets hope it will happen sooner rather than later

Riggght. So a club's "mentality" is sopmething that they have forever? Great clubs will always be great clubs and loser clubs, always losers?
