Most of our defenders are players bought by Moggi in the past.
Cannavaro, Legrottaglie, Zebina, Chiellini, Molinaro (he bought him first).
Even Grygera and Salihamidzic were rumoured to join us when Moggi was here and i believe he made the first contacts with these players. De Ceglie is from the youth team.
He can't say that these players aren't good enough when he was the one who brought them to Juve. But he will always have to say something about Melo, Knezevic, Amauri (didn't he say some shit against Amauri last summer?), Mellberg etc.

Thats a good point i was thinking the same thing. Everyone on this forum is in agreement that we have mediocre full backs but no one else seems concerned. I dont think we are wrong at all and it really baffles me that more attention hasnt been given by Juve in improving our fullbacks and more people like Moggi have not voiced their opinions on the matter when its plain to see by anyone with any sort of knowledge about football.

Stuff about Mellborg and Knezevic are justified, because Moggi signed better free agents than that. Perhaps Melo is a bit overpriced, but you can't go into a restaurant trying to debate the market price for surf and turf. The market price for Melo was 25M Euros, set and standard, so arguing about this will get you thrown out of my restaurant.
About having players that can control the pace, Diego has shown that he can, and I believe Melo can as well (compared to other players we have had in the team over the past 5 years). Moggi had us play with two extremely mechanic central midfielders who got the job done without any flair, but they did shit for us in the Champions League. I don't appreciate those seasons with Capello whatsoever because we could have achieved a lot more if the bastards made smarter decisions.

I wouldnt say no one else, football commentators on actual games regurarly commented on that being our main weakness (and read tons of articles mention it as the main weakness). See Alens post for why Moggi doesnt say shit against them (he has his on pathetic agenda and has zero interest in Juve in general improvin). And other experts, I guess they think its so obvious it doesnt warrant to be mentionned, really. Because its clearly our weakness, compared to our midfield that looks real good.

But I doubt Moggi would come out to say anything about them because he wanted Grygera here and Molinaro is Italian.

But yeah, Moggi doesn't really have a lot to complain about when it comes to our transfer campaign this summer (other seasons, yes). Plus if he was here, we'd even have more youngsters loaned out most likely. So screw that.
