What a surprise move, I for one won't miss him in Belgium since he played for Anderlecht's biggest competitor.
Good move for him, I don't know if he is good enough for a top club like Milan was (yes Alen, I know you didn't enjoy reading this), I hope he isn't.

Hahaha, i don't want to be in Andy's shoes right now.
But wait, does he have an EU passport? If he doesn't then Milan don't have anymore room for non-EU players so it means that they won't be signing Hernanes, Adebayor or Dzeko.

So let me welcome the guy with one nice :FUCK OFF ONYEWU.
He can sue me if he wants.

Edit: He has Belgian passport so he's not taking the non-EU spot.
He won't unless you call him a monkey :agree:

He looks very promising though. Wise move for Milan.

He was a free transfer so it's a safe bet for them. He did have a great Conf. Cup, that's for sure. He was dominant when his team was attacked and all the Americans were in their box.
But he's not very young (he's 27), he already failed in a big leage (EPL) and the Belgians who followed him in the Belgian league say that he's nothing special, too slow etc.

Hit or miss. But since they didn't pay anything for him i guess they have nothing to lose.
Yeah, you might call it a wise move. Maybe they won't get anything with him, but the possibility is there that he might be very good/great. They sure have nothing to lose with him.

I sure hope he has an awful season with many injuries.

Wow, that's surprising, he seemed to be set to sign for Ajax.

I really query whether Gooch can be meaningful signing for Milan. He's been the best defender in the Belgian league at times, but that only tells you so much. Decent backup I guess.

You know what kind of players suck? World Cup/Euro one hit wonders (El Hadji Diouff and every single Senegalese player from that year, Baros, etc.).

You know what kind of players suck even harder? Confederations Cup one hit wonders (Cicinho the leading example).

Milan signing Onyewu = another good reason to laugh at Milan.

From what I have seen (which admittedly isn't a huge amount), he seems to look good when his team is sitting deep and he is well protected and he doesn't have much space to cover (like with the US recently), but he looks dreadful when left to cover bigger spaces due to his team being on the attack (Newcastle).

The signing adds nothing other than depth to Milan.
