Roma should have scored about six.

Samp basically scored off their only two attacks.

Another thing probably overlooked in this match: Zauri made a fine recovery after a terrible first half. Vucinic went from carving them up to getting stuffed in the second half. It neutralized a lot of the danger Roma represented earlier.

If we get Pazzini we'll never win a major trophy. He'll be just another one of those older strikers we signed from other Serie A team, like Iaquinta or Amauri. And he's been working well with Cassano and we never know how he will work with our guys, maybe he'll choke like he did with Fiorentina.

We should just stop fucking around and sign a proper WC striker. Give me a big name, don't give me another Iaquinta or Amauri.

We said exactly the same things about Amauri and Iaquinta, look where that got us.

The board just can't afford to fuck up again. If they sign Pazzini and he'll end up like Iaquinta or Amauri, then its going to be a big loss for him and they'll have to go out and look for another one.

Ranieri didn't choke, he over achieved with a limited side that has no depth whatsoever, and eventually the bubble burst.

Me too, so it's kinda a good that Samp won. If Palermo finishes fourth they have bigger chances of keeping their star players than Sampdoria at same position IMO.
