I'll win it in the end, konju glupi.

Anyway, the 4th place battle is becoming more and more interesting. Especially if Roma win tonight, it will be a slaughter till the end.
The traditional CL contenders Fiorentina and Roma, two quality sides like Genoa and Napoli, Sampdoria and Parma as the surprise packages....they'll be all there, with 2 pts difference between them.

Here is how the best serie A teams played the opening 15 rounds in the last post-Calciopoli seasons:

INTER
2006/07--- 15--12-3-0 (32-14) 39 points (1st place)
2007-08--- 15--11-4-0 (33:08) 37 points (1st place)
2008/09--- 15--11-3-1 (25:08) 36 points (1st place)
2009/10--- 15- 11-2-2 (34-13) 35 points (1st place)

Inter are league leaders after 15 rounds in all post-Calciopoli seasons. They kept the 1st place till the very end in the last 3 seasons. Lets see if they'll do it again this year.
But, as you can notice, each year they're doing a little worse than the previous year. Not only that they're winning less points compared to the year before, but also, the 4 pts difference between them and the 2nd placed team this year, is the smallest difference between them and the 2nd placed team after 15 rounds in these last 4 seasons.
------------------------------------
MILAN
2006/07--- 15--5-6-4 (14-14) 21 points (6th place...or 10th place with the point deduction)
2007-08--- 15--5-6-4 (22:12) 21 points (7th place)
2008/09--- 15--9-3-3 (21:13) 30 points (sharing 2nd place)
2009/10--- 15- 9-4-2 (23-15) 31 points (2nd place)

Milan are improving. After disastrous opening 15 rounds in 06/07 and 07/08 seasons, they're slowly but surely doing better. Last year at this point they shared the 2nd place with Juve while now they're alone in 2nd place. The difference between them and Inter was 6 pts this time last year, while now it's 4 points.
-----------------------------------
JUVENTUS
2007-08--- 15--8-5-2 (30:13) 29 points (3rd place)
2008/09--- 15--9-3-3 (23:10) 30 points (sharing 2nd place)
2009/10--- 15- 9-3-3 (28-16) 30 points (3rd place)

Well, we're not really improving. We're winning 29,30 and 30 points respectively and we're between 5-8 points behind the league leaders after 15 rounds.
----------------------------------
FIORENTINA
2006/07--- 15--8-2-5 (22-15) 26 points (4th place...or 12th place with the point deduction)
2007-08--- 15--6-6-3 (19:13) 24 points (5th place)
2008/09--- 15--8-2-5 (22:14) 26 points (4th place)
2009/10--- 15- 7-3-5 (17-13) 24 points (5th place)

Interesting how Fiorentina are also doing almost the same every year. In the previous 3 seasons they made a top 4 finish in each one of them (lost it in 2006/07 due to the pts deduction). Will they make it to top 4 again this year, after they made it to the CL knock-outs? I think they will.
-----------------------------------
ROMA
2006/07--- 15--10-2-3 (32-15) 32 points (2nd place)
2007-08--- 15--9-5-1 (31:17) 32 points (2nd place)
2008/09--- 15--7-2-6 (18:18) 23 points (8th place)
2009/10--- 14- 6-3-5 (24-22) 21 points (10th place)

Roma are struggling after great 06/07 and 07/08 seasons. But unlike last year when they were really bad throughout the season, this year, with a healthy Totti they'll be top 4 contenders. If they win tonight they'll share the 5th place.

Red card for Ranocchia today, so he should be banned for the game against us next week.
Yup.
Their LB is injured while their sub LB also got a red card today so now they'll be without 2 of the back 4 that functioned excellently this year.
Rivas and Kutuzov, two of their best 3-4 players are also injured and they won't play against us.

Still, they have a solid midfield and a dangerous attacker (Barreto) and won't be a walk in the park.

Almiron will have something to prove against us :D

This is by far the strongest Serie A since the calciopoli, every team seems to be a challenge for every game while there have been many surprises in: Parma, Sampdoria, Bari and even Napoli(late on the season).

I just hope we finally win our 30th Scudetto and have the 3rd star :)

Btw, I must admit that we're kinda lucky this year with the suspensions players get right before their team plays against Juve :D
Maicon, Di Natale, Ranocchia, Criscito.

We were also lucky with the injuries that hit our opponents right before the match vs Juve. Zarate, Palombo and Sneijder among others.

And still we're doing average and not better than in the previous seasons :wallbang:
