wow, feeling better are we?
Yes. thanks! The op went very well. I arrived back in the ward in time to see the others getting their tea. I was starved pre-op, so I did a Dru and asked for some. The doctor came in and told me that I was very chipper! He said they couldn't give me food in case they had to take me back to theatre. I protested that the monitor had consistently shown my obs were good. So he said I could have some toast later!
Within three days I was wandering around the ward free of wires and tubes! On Friday morning I was told that I could go home!

I've since had two short trips to the shops and I went to the health centre to get a repeat prescription today. I don't take as many painkillers as prescribed 'cos I'm too eager to get back to normal and if I rush things, I could make things worse for myself. That little bit of pain prevents me from being too reckless. I have to wait 2-3 weeks before I find out if I need Chemo or radiotherapy.
