:lol2: Danke, DUMMKOPFS!
Whenever I go to Paris, I always joke about all the multilingual photobook tourist guides that are for sale in front of the sights.

Take the Louvre... You have books titled "Il Louvre", "El Museo del Louvre", and, in German, "Der Louvre - die zu uns gehören wird bald wieder" :D

Ruud Gullit just said catenaccio was invented by Juventus. :shifty:
I know, he should just get a room with his mate Jamie.
Gullit was speaking an unusually large amount of shite tonight.

What I love about SKY coverage is that Andy Gray is clearly less interested in a CL semi between Bayern and Lyon than he is in a nothing game between, say, Bolton and Sunderland.

Only to be expected from a jute, hun, anglophile cunt.

The European Cup is just an view of what might have happened years ago.

The Germans have beaten the American backed Brits and are going on to dominate Europe.

I wouldn't take Olic. He's a streaky striker who is hot right now but it doesn't mean he'll be that way here. This competition doesn't erase his history of being somewhat dodgy. We already have a similar player to him in Iaquinta anyway, don't want two.

A few months ago there was an article on The Guardian where someone analysed that the way leagues are structured, it's only a few years apart where the Bundesliga will be the best league in Europe. I agreed with the analysis back then and I even mentioned it on the forum.

I was making a World War II analogy, actually. :D

But I agree. The infrastructure and attendances in Germany mean they are well set up to be very strong in the coming years.

The writer emphasised on the cheap tickets to the matches and how the stadia are always full.

"Last season La Liga attracted an average of 28,478 fans, Ligue 1 21,034, Serie A 25,304 and the Premier League 35,592. These figures are dwarfed by the Bundesliga's average of 41,904."
