Fred or anyone with decent ligue 1 knowledge, can you tell me if Lyon will have any other CB's other than Cris available?
Bodmer and Boumsong will be back.

Toulalan just played there today because they were short. He's usually the DM.

Andy is right. But Toulalan has had to play as CB for 1/3 of Lyons games this season. Because Lyon started the season with 3 natural center backs; Cris, Boumsong and the young Lovren. Boumsong has been injured for most of the season, so Bodmer who is normally a central midfielder was reverted to centerback, but then he got a long term injury too, so Toulalan has had to play as CB several times this season.

Boumsong should be back for the return leg.

Cheers Andy, Lovren has impressed me in the two games I've seen him play in.
I predict a big future, I'm suprised they would have opted to put Gonalons, who is equally as inexperienced DM as CB for some games instead of a natural cb.

I am fumilar with Lyons cb problem
but what of Lovren? He has impressed me in the two games I've seen him play in.
I'm not so sure if he's eligible, i don't remember seeing him on the bench for Lyon in the CL.

As for the second part, really? Were those games for Lyon? Because whenever i've seen him this season he has been really poor.

He's still a bit too raw imo, he's not yet ready this season.

I don't recall seeing Gonalons at CB, only at defensive midfield. And whenever I've seen him play he's always impressed me to a degree. Very mature player for his age who seems to have a bright future.

I watched a Dynamo Zagreb match earlier and he was very, very good.
And then I watched him play against PSG and considering how young and new he is to the ligue I was again impressed and he has nice distribution of the ball.

I can already tell he'll be an object of contention between big clubs in the future.

He certainly played against Liverpool at CB, and he's moved into the CB role during games where there have been injuries/subs. Tonight for example when Toulalan was sent off he moved there.
Still looked very assured though and he looks like he has a bright future.

You started wishing upon ending players careers. So, yep you just said it yourself, you are dumb and stupid, congratulations.
:andyandbarcelona: :blah: :blah: :blah:

I thought you were more intelligent than that; obviously, I was exaggerating to show my level of contempt and hatred for the Merda. However, I guess you are not as intelligent as I thought you might be to understand the entire gist of my post. I'd rather see the Inter players suffer and get humiliated than have their careers ended prematurely, thus depriving me of that luxury.

an Inter vs Bayern final is a disgusting proposition; however, in that scenario I would be forced to support Bayern.

I couldn't care less about the coefficient or Italy having 4 spots in the CL. As of next year, I am expecting Juve to challenge for the title, or at least finish in the top 3 spots after having given it their all. Hence, the argument for Italy having 4 spots is rendered meaningless to me, as I will not accept Juve dabbling in mediocrity for much longer.
