I must say I disagree when it comes to Alves. And as for Maicon, his price is above 30mln now. If he goes to Chelsea it will be some crazy money. I wouldn't say he's twice the player but Maicon is better. Still, Alves is second best RB in the world. He's not great in defense, but his aggression makes him look good. Also, Abidal was a decent transfer. Maxwell is a good back up while I see why they payed so much for Henry.

But yeah, it's not like I don't see your point, they pull many awful moves.

Like I said, stupid transfers, but they won everything in one year. But Real, stupid transfers, and they still fight for the first place and disappear in Europe. It's where it's difference. Youth school or not, they are better. You can't watch only La Liga and laugh at Barca. Like you pointed out Inter and Bayern, try to do the same with Real M. and see their achievements. That stuff can only make you laugh. Maybe not you, but it sure makes me giggle while on the other hand I bow to Porto, Lyon and Udinese.
Well looking at how you rate La Liga, Barca only won one trophy last season. This season, both Barca and Real splashed money to bring players. Real splashed more money but Barca' transfers were more stupid. At least Real got the players they needed while Barca exactly did the opposite. So far, they both have lost on the CL, the only trophy you seem to rate so I see no difference actually except that the players Real bought are more likely to live up to the expectations in the coming years.

You hate Barcelona, there is no point in arguing with you. Barcelona came to the semis while Lyon as ass trashed Real. Like I said, look at Real numbers first.

If you honestly think that Real made good moves then here :coffee: I have no intention in continuing this discussion.

Hating on Barcelona fans is something and hating on Barcelona as a team is something else. As a fan, one can't ignore that they bring joy to football fans worldwide. I am not a fan of them but that's a FACT.

It's not a matter of hate :D

I never said Real made good moves, they somehow made a revolution in their team so I think it would logically take the new players more than one season to gel and to perform as they used to do in their former clubs.

Barca had an awesome season last year, Eto'o was one of their best players, I don't know what more they expected of a striker to do for them so I think going for Zlatan was stupid which didn't bring them the CL either.

You don't rate La Liga because you still think Real might win it and you prefer to say that they didn't win anything worthy so by this logic, no matter how Barca and Real will finish this season, there is no difference between what they have achieved after the money they lavished on the new players. I still believe that Real's new players were what they needed and they will play better and better in the next seasons.

I don't really rate La Liga, true. But it has nothing to do with taking Barca's side at all. I don't care who wins it. Even if Barca wins it 4 more years in a row it'll be a clownish league for me. I look how they do in Europe...Real is a 0 there.

I still believe that Real's new players were what they needed and they will play better and better in the next seasons.
Of course.

Even my grandmother would make a good team after 10 years of buying super starts worth at least 30mln euros.

It's where we disagree and it's what I can't understand.

What fact? They don't bring joy to me.
Barcelona didn't bring joy to you? Last year? You're lying to yourself then. But I believe that's part of the game. 6-7years ago, I used to act the same way while watching Real Madrid, pretending they don't bring joy to me but infact they were the most entertaining team even when we knocked them out of CL 03.

They don't bring joy to me either, feel free to call me a non-football fan. I've heard worse.

That's because you hate them too.
If you say so but fact is I don't care about them nor about the image they promote nor their football style. And If you insist that I hate them then be my guest but the fact is I don't hate anything at all. The only thing that annoys me about Barcelona is their fan boys.

Not caring about them isn't my concern or topic here nor their image. I couldn't care less about them too. But they've played the best football in the last 2years and so and the only team that comes behind them is Manchester United.

I hate Manchester United more than Inter but fact is they've produced some lovely games the past two years. I hate them but fact is fact. That's where we disagree.

And that's why I said there's a difference between hating fanboys and hating Barcelona's style of play because there's nothing to hate in their style.

But I admire the football that Manchester United plays not the one Barcelona does though.

But hey, you're the one who said I hate Barcelona where I was telling that I don't....I guess you know more.

Aha, that's it. If you have money and money can bring you success, why shouldn't you splash your money?

It wasn't the point though. You said Real would achieve nothing despite the money they lavished stupidly on new players.

No Rab I'm not lying to myself. Why should I be? I don't like their type of football, it has absolutely nothing to do with the feeling I have about them. I find their possession type of football rather boring. It doesn't mean I don't admire quite a few moments of brilliance by some individuals in their team but they play a very boring (to me) type of football most of time.

Exactly, we are not talking about individual we are talking about individuals... and individuals are part of the game when we're talking about more than 4 or 5 players which are part of the team's play, team's control, team's vision, team's passion, teams passes etc...

I can probably understand that they don't bring joy to you but to say they play a very boring game. Lets be serious.

Define me entertaining type of football.

The football Juve played in 2003 was entertaining for me. The football Manchester United has been playing the past years is entertaining for me. Mourinho's Chelsea was entertaining for me.

It's all about taste in the end.
