Bayern and Inter were so close to being eliminated in the group stages and now they're so close to playing in the final.
If you remember, in the 4th round in the groups, Inter were losing 0:1 in Kiev until the 86th minute. If they drew or lost that match, they'd have been eliminated. They ended up wining and in the end they qualified. Even in the last round they'd have been eliminated if they didn't beat Rubin.
With Bayern we know the story. A draw was enough for Juve in the last round, but we lost.
Even in the knock-outs Bayern were close to being eliminated, twice.
Bianconero81 calls it luck, but i've seen the German teams (especially Bayern and the NT) doing something similar at least 20 times in my life and it's not luck if it happens over and over again.
