Actually Malouda is being commended in France for his allround game, including his defensive work with surprisingly good tackling as well.
:agree: Exactly.

Exactly! He wil be a new Kapo!
:disagree: Malouda >>> Kapo

From what i saw of him this summer in the WC it didn't seem like he would be someone able to bring back juve to the level we want it....i'd prefer ribery as well.
Unfortunately it is safe to say: Forget Ribery!!

The talented France international is thought to be high on the wish-list of some of Europe's finest, with reports from France having intimated both Manchester United and Chelsea are keen, along with UEFA Champions League finalists Milan.

Malouda, who has made no secret of his desire to experience a fresh challenge, has revealed that he has had contact with a number of interested parties.

He is, though, loath to disclose too many details - instead, preferring to direct enquires in the direction of his paymaster Aulas.

"I wanted to tell directly the chairman the contacts I've had for some time," Malouda told L'Equipe.

"We should meet again soon. Actually, Mr Aulas is now waiting for the attracted clubs to show their interest.

"But don’t rely on me to tell you any names, or the sum of a possible transfer as I don’t know it.

"I didn’t want to have any guarantees for next season at Lyon. The talk was only about my personal case."

Malouda has long been linked with an exit from the French champions and well aware that such opportunities may not present themselves again, it is with a determination that he looks to pastures new.

"Some propositions or opportunities won’t necessarily happen again," he concluded. "So they have to be studied carefully.

"I want things to happen the best way. If I were to quit Lyon it would only be to go higher, so abroad.

"Of course, it's with the willing to make a name for myself and I'll prepare the best way for that."

Florent Malouda (Olympique Lyon) and Samir Nasri (Olympique Marseille) were both presented with trophies attesting to their status as the crème de la crème in Ligue 1. The Les Gones man, who recently celebrated yet another domestic league triumph, topped the absolute category while the man from Marseille clinched the honour in the young gun stakes. The prize for the best Ligue 1 young player went to Samir Nasri (Olympique de Marseille), the rising star having eclipsed other OM stars like Ribéry.

very interesting and certainly shows that both of them are really good

totally agree...Malouda has a decent left foot but not much of a passing0rang and is not amazingly quick either...dribbling is only average...only thing he is really good at is diving/simulation ;)

what i've seen so far of him, i've been quite impressed. diving notwithstanding, blazing run along the left flank, pretty good dribbling skills, ok passing and very good aerial ability. would love have him here but he does sound like a merce though...another viera maybe?

I think everyone in the world would prefer Ribery. I think he is the best thing out on the market right now. However, he mentioned that he wants to play CL football. As far as Malouda goes. I think he is overrated, but still pretty good. I don't really think he would be great for us, but he would be pretty good.

P.S. I am practicing my politics

Well i do, i've read it earlier

he is the best of the french league so i'm sure he can join Juve and be one of the best serie A players to
frankly speaking, ligue 1 is probably the worst amongst the top 5-6 euro leagues...the most boring games you could ever imagine...to be rated best player in that league is a gr8 achievement of course but ummm no thanks...and he is a chump if compared to Ribery

But surely better then the Dutch league.
So being voted best player in the French league is worth more then playing good in the Dutch league.
