 Why you are laughing Nicko.
Saw you saying on VS that you are not convinced by Malouda and you'd prefer Elia and now quickly you changed your opinion :sergio:
My words were for 15 Million I'd take Elia over him. However the reported fee's at the minute of under 10 Million he'd be a very good signing, don't twist my words.

Malouda does drift infield alot though.
which is exactly what Juve need ... I've always liked Malouda, ever since his first Lyon days and he integrated himself in the EPL and Chelsea really well - he's been their best player in attack along with Drogba these past 2-3 seasons.
Only issues for Juve could be his age but if the fee is low enough, he would give you plenty of quality for another couple of years - enough time to figure out a quality replacement. Provided he won't cost much, I'd take him over Bastos, Vargas, Elia, Perotti etc.

Need to be below 7m to be a good deal. This is a deal we should get on our terms if we play it straight. I'd offer them 13m for both Malouda and Alex. While selling Pepe and Bonnucci for 20 to Zenith. After paying 3.5m for Giaccuinta we'd be left with another 3.5m which I'd invest in Lugano. And call it a mercato. Beppe.
:lol2:

If theres two things that put me off Malouda is his pace, he doesnt have the same sort of pace he did have at Lyon, but then to be fair he wont need much pace to cut it in serie A. The other would be his crosses. Dont remember many of his assists coming via crosses. However I stick by my claim that he will be a quality signing and we shouldnt hesitate.

he sure ain't getting any faster but he is a quality player, a smart player on the pitch too ... straight-line speed ain't gonna get you anywhere on its own (see Krasic).
Malouda is, I'd say, quite easily the best option for the LW among all players linked with Juve this summer - not counting rumours like Nani, Ribery, Afellay - and would give the team a real leap of quality on the left, imo.

Milito was 30 and Lucio 31 when they joined Inter, what terrible transfers they turned to be.

How the hell do you communicate with those dudes over at VS? Google Translate?

your right but then at Lyon, it wasnt always straight line speed. He does have bit of flair about him but yeah no doubt his smart and cutting in will proove to be very useful.
