And how much did Rooney cost? He's scored just 11 goals himself..

Drogba is a disappointment, he's hardly a flop. Actually he has 10 now: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/topscorers?league=ENG.1&cc=3888
Rooney actually has 17 goals in all games. And he hasnt been a flop, he is a kid, who has been injured at some times and played most of the season on the left of midfield.

Right and how much did he cost again? Your logic doesn't exactly stand the test of time, Nicole..

Does that matter? Drogba is 27 or 28, so 30m for a player who can score 20 goals for 15 years, is very good.

And Drogba only cost £24m because Chelsea were willing to pay that, he was never actually worth that money, that's pretty obvious isn't it?

10 goals in his first season isn't exactly scandalous, how many games has he played this year?

Exactly, much closer to the mark.
Saha has been injured the whole season, how can you compare that?

And he cost half what Drogba cost, and in his first 9 games for United (before he was injured) he scored 8 goals, thats a better record then Drogba has.
