Davids sees off Mijatovic, our Edgar came sooo close to scoring towards the end of the match as he dribbled his way into the box but fired at the keeper

SuperPippo wasted a golden opportunity himself, as he neatly chested a nice cross but fired right at the keeper as well :boxing:

Didier Deschamps kept our midfield going as usual, with solid routine. On a bad day, Raul played a modest game.

There was nothing left for our black and whites after the 90 minutes and the sole Mijatovic goal. What a wasted opportunity!!! :down:

Tacchinardi as we remember the Ajax players in 96. And the reign in Europe was broken and never restored as Real beat a Juve dominating the continent at the time.
