I asked him about the "called shot". He said "Kid, I asked him about it the next day when I was sitting next to him on the bench *goose bumps*, and I asked him. He said "Kid--if it makes 'em happy" . He didn't call it--he was shaking his finger at a bunch of hecklers in the rt field stands.

It is a team sport, just in a passive kind of way. There is people telling the driver what to do when hes driving, and also the people that fix the car, change the tires, etc.

If F1 were that easy then I guess everyone could participate on it. Could you get on any F1 car and drive over 150km/h on any track? without crashing?
Yeah sure, perhaps we could find out if I had a million dollars and the urge to BUY A FORMULA 1 CAR. But I don't want to because IMO racing is not really a sport. Sports in my opinion are activities in which you use the power, strength, and skill of your body, not some fvcking man-made device. That is just weakness IMO.

Chill out noones asking you to buy a F1 car

Your definition of sports is merely your opinion so I respect that

What I think sucks about racing is that its kinda boring to sit down and watch some guys drive over and over the same track for two hours. Nothing exciting ever happens unless a car explodes

Of course F1 is a sport. It can really drive the limits of someone's mind and body to the maximum.Surely it's got one of the worst sporting condtions of any sport; its hot, you're fixed in an awkward sitting position in a seat that's not even comfortable because it's been engineered to be as light as possible. You follow the exact same racing line around a track for 60 times while having to contend with a track of 21 rivals. And it's a wonder how they don't get deaf in possibly the noisiest road vehicle ever made. Not forgetting wearing a helmet as well.
