I would call this summers campaign:
Prepare ourselves to the era after Del Piero, part I.
Players arrived to the first squad:
-Bonnefoi (3rd keeper)
-Blasi
-Kapo
-Zebina
-Emerson
-Zlatan
-Cannavaro
I would take Oliveira to this group too
lost:
-Maresca (co-o)
-Miccoli (co-o)
-DYO
neither:
Chiellini (co-o)
Davids (in reality we lost him before)
Conte, thanks for all the years
It looks like a pretty decent transfer campaign, for me,
Moggi changed nearly the half of the last seasons starting eleven.
Zebina, Cannavaro, Emerson, Blasi, Zlatan and seemingly Oliveira too can be considered as first choice. Canna seems to me the most reliable solution, Zebina will be ok, Emerson is the best cm in serie-a, Blasi is very convinceing so far, as Capello's other favourit: Oliveira, both bright prospect of the future. Capturing Zlatan as Trezequet stayed what a signing!
Zlatan, Trez, DP working in any combination :
DP-Trez (usual), DP-Zlatan (sooo creative, still a danger in the air), Zlatan-Trez (immense arial threat, still quite creative)
its hard to describe how much potential this three has.
Chiellini will be back next season, I'm sure.
Imo Maresca is not a big loss. If he proves me (and both Lippi and Capello) wrong, than he still can be bought back.
DYO departure made me happy, we had to offload him, no matter how much we lost financialy.
Miccoli, the biggest loss. The most important thing about this:
He asked Juve to let him go, not Moggi send him.
As I'm sure that Zlatan will be considered as the first choice if DP is out, or out of form (Zlatan-Trez, if both healthy will play much more than some may think) Miccoli had really no other option if he wants playing time. I think Miccoli's problem is that his position is engaged by Del Piero, as he is too small to play in striker role. He only will return if he proves this year that he could be the heir of Alex next year, when I'm pretty sure, the era after DP will start.
