He really isn’t that bad, he never argues to be on the bench. Not a high earner… we have to think about Kelly, Vlahovic, Arthur… letting him stay is not that bad for keeping back ups. Still this ain’t the Juve standard, I get it, this is jj after all.

Still has me feeling like this.

He’s whatever. Hes not good but he’s also not blocking anyone and at least fits in Tudor’s system as opposed to Motta’s. Cambiaso will play the majority of the time he’s fit anyway. Just carry Kostic for another season and then were free.

I am not too passionate about seeing him leave as we would have to spend up on another position for a 2nd stringer.

Jao Mario/Savona? and Cambiaso/Kostic

Seems like management are interested in divesting Savona and getting someone like Molina. Also McKennie, Rouhi and Cabal could play in those roles too as could Conceicao but that would be a bit of a waste.

Just remember, wing backs take the whole flank and it can be one of the most exhausting roles so having quality back ups is a good thing to have.

yeah he's easily the most natural wingback we've had in the last decade. old and not great, probably underwhelming even for jj, but that's his natural position

His assist to minutes played ratio is pretty good, especially compared to everyone who played for Juve since 2009 when they started counting assists. But he makes them mostly when he plays as a winger, not as a wingback.
I don't think he'll be useful anymore. Alas.

Douglas Costa 1 assist/263 minutes
Morata 1/324
Diego 1/344
Pjanic 1/368
Kulusevski 1/371
Di Maria 1/373
Cuadrado 1/376
Kostic 1/390
Giovinco 1/395
Krasic 1/396
Vucinic 1/400
Chiesa 1/405
Pirlo 1/412
Dybala 1/424
Bernardeschi 1/436
Pogba 1/439
