File type conversion (3 Viewers)

OK folks, here's a tester.

Who knows how to convert a .zvr file type into, well, anything usefull that I can listen to on the move.

The .zvr file type seems to be a Korean audio file found on voice recorders...it can be listened to on Windows Media Player...and that's it...which means no mobile listening unless you have the player/recorder with you that you have recorded the audio file on.

Can this be converted into say an MP3, or anything that winamp could play?

Sorry that I can't help you. Even Download.com doesn't have anything to my knowledge. I'd start with Googling for 'zvr' and work my way from there.

Not a karaoke portal...just want to listen to lectures but get tied down to listening on a computer.

Tried googling...got an italian site about a month or so ago,which when translated, didn't work:down:

Tried Konvertor...no joy...doesn't have this file format...great programme though

Thanks for helping, guess I'll just have to carry my recorder with me as well as ppc.

Hello Nawaf...I've been to the manufaturers web site...it sucks unfortunately:frown:

I'll keep looking on the web and maybe in time someone'll come up with a programme which does the trick

Masters degree in Law. I fancied trying this 4-5 years ago, but it's way too expensive for me to pay for on my own...but this year I happened to mention it in passing with someone at work...and they said, hey, no problem, they'll pick up the tab if I agree to stay there for at least two years after (if) I graduate.

So..here I am, a student again, not many moons away from the big Four Ohhh...I'm nuts

Nice I'm seriously contemplating a master program starting January [if I get into the program] so you'll be done before me.

So you're in the legal world, you never said before.

I'm part time, so wont be finished for two years.
With your knowledge and language skills I can't see you not getting into a programme
