nevermind...i got it.
whataver the calculation is, the final answer will always be a multiple of nine.
all the signs stay the same except for the multiples of nine (9,18,27,36,....99)
but the program behind it is intellegent. if you keep clicking the ball without enough time in between, all the characters change so you can't find a pattern (but the multiples of nine are still identical)

well, for example:
79 --> 63
78 --> 63
77 --> 63
76 --> 63
75 --> 63
74 --> 63
73 --> 63
72 --> 63
71 --> 63
70 --> 63
so any number you pick in the 70's will give you a final answer of 63.
some numbers are obviously impossible to get, eg 99, 0
10-19 gives you 9
20-29 gives you 18
30-39 gives you 27
etc.
