I just got this game a few days ago, I'm at the point where against "amateur" difficulty I score 8 goals and concede none, whereas on "semi-pro" I will win or lose maybe 2-1, 3-1. Manager mode is so damn frustrating though, how the hell do you buy players? I've been offering ridiculous amounts of money to the clubs, but the players always reject my offers it seems. The closest I got to getting anyone was Neymar, where Santos told me to increase my offer and I would be able to buy him, but then the player rejected my offer. I never even got to offer a wage though, how do you do so? I never get the option to do so.

You should play online once you know the basic controls. I think you learn much faster losing online in the beginning instead of beating semi-pro cpu.
