How does the computer usually score against you? Is it ridiculously difficult to defend against headers, and do they take shots from 30m out?

They mostly score on crosses, whether it be deflected shots or headers. The only time when I've been scored on outside the box is from freekicks so far. Its different from last year in that the other team spreads the ball down the wings very much, and defending against crosses has changed from last year. The computer is very smart this year.

I'm back playing Madden again. In hindisght, I like FIFA 2004 better fro some reason.

Andy, is there a Creation Center for the Fifa 2005 PS2 version? I'm buying it today regardless because I've always done so, but for the past 3 years, EA has pissed me off.

Yes there is. The Create a Player for FIFA 2005 reminds me of the NHL 2004 Creat a player. All the skill attributes and physical feature aspects are there, as well as boot color. You can even give your player earings of rings, and other stuff like that.

tht's the best thin in fifa 2005,, rest r crap,, the gameplay as usual from fifa 2000-2005 --> sucks

best fifa gameplay is 98 and then all Winning 11 versions are gr8.

ok thats enugh, I have owned WE 6 7 8 and all the fifas are better, they have over 250 official licences so it says "Roy Makaay" instead of "Ronald Maker."

I do agree partially with the WE's game play aspect, but fifa 2005 is much better than any WE.

You can easily get a patch to correct all of the names, so that just leaves the gameplay. Do you think FIFA has better gameplay than WE?

In fifa 2005 the game play is better this year, but in years past, WE HAS been better, i agree with him on the gameplay aspect, but just not this year.

Well I broke down and had to sim a few boring matches, just move things along a little quicker with Ternana. I just beat Sampdoria in the Semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. I'm in the Final. But guess who my opponent is.

Couldn't be better for getting recognized.






I never thought I'd say this but I hope Ternana beats Juventus.

I have Hellas Verona in the Champions League after finishing 2nd to Juve in my second full season.

So, I went out and bought Jimenez from Ternana for 14200 budget points, which wiped out my summer transfer campaign. However, due to the fact that my budget level is now on level 5, I gain 500 budget points per week, so I should have around 12000 budget points by the time January rolls around.

My first match in season 3 is against Juve for the Supercoppa, because Verona took down Inter in the Coppa Italia finals via penalty kicks 14-13 (no joke). The biggest team that has offered me a contract so far is Benfica.
