Well I'm still waiting on FIFA 2008 on PS2. Should be out in September. In the meantime, I'm playing FIFA 07.

After playing a couple of seasons in manager mode with Juve, my starting lineup is

-------Del Piero-----------Huntelaar

---------------Van Der vaart

Nedved---------------------------Quaresma

--------------------Tiago

--Chiellini----Milito------Meira----Grygera

--------------------Buffon

I sold Trez :D to raise funds to buy the other players!

I was thinking that if anyone else plays, you can post your teams and lineups here

I play PES 6 Master League with this team/formation:

----Ribery--------Babel--------Robben

---------------Van der Vaart-------------

Gakpe------------------------Marchionni

----------------Mavuba-------------------

Thuram-------Cannavaro-------Barzagli

-----------------Buffon--------------------

A bit offensive, but it works damn good.

There is no such thing as defense in football video games.

I am playing with Napoli right now and my formation is:

--------------------------------AMELIA

P.CANNAVARO----BARZAGLI------F.CANNAVARO-------GALLAS

---------------SABRI---------A. DIARRA
--------------------------------------------------D'AGOSTINO

------------------------------------CASSANO

----------------QUAGLIARELLA
-----------------------------------------BIANCHI

Kind of wacky but it works. I wanted to work the formation around some of my favorite players instead of what I usually do and that is... find players that fit the 4-4-1-1 I ususally play. P. Cannavaro, Barzagli, and Fabio are all listed as CB's while Gallas is an LB who moves cautiously upfield. Sabri, Diarra and D'Agostino are all DM's with Sabri being allowed to work the sideline and D'Agostino lying deep in support of the attack. Cassano sets everything up, Quagliarella blasts bombs from outside the box and Bianchi is my header guy. Diarra doen't move much, he is there to win battles in the air and shut down any attacks up the middle. It works.

Are they still going to make a PES7 for PS2? Or am I going to have to weigh the Pros and Cons of buying a $500 entertainment system for the 1 video game I play.
looks like it. Sooner or later ur gonna have to buy it. I'm gonna wait till a modchip comes out. It'll be less than a year so by that time prices would have gone down too.

of course!!! once u go PES u'll never go back. its much more real, it's a near perfection of our beautiful game. God bless those Japanese. FIFA have and will never come close to getting the mechanics of the game right. PES is much more fluid, its just breathtaking.
    u wont regret it

fifa 08 is supposed to come out september 25th or sometime in that week.
i am currently loving life with fifa 07 playing as juventus. i always keep del piero in my starting lineup and try to keep almost all italians and i never have any brazilians or french.(exceptions are kaka and trezeguet)
    my team is as follows
    -----------------------buffon-------------
    chiellini---cannavaro-------barzagli---lahm
    --------------pirlo-------------de rossi-----------------------
    nedved--------------------------------------lampard
    ---------del piero-----------------gilardino
the rest of my team is; trezeguet, g. rossi, quagliarella, Curci, palladino, aquilani, mertesacker, criscito, mantovani, andreoli, montolivo, mirante, paro, marchisio, camoranesi.
i am a big fan of the azzurrini so i have a number of italian youth on my squad.

i played with Juve for about 6-7 seasons from start n won everything! so moved to chelsea just for a change!! i found a youth there who's just 18 and overall 47 but has scored a lot of goals!!! sure hatricks everytime!!! so once this season ends, i go back to juve and buy this guy out from Chelsea!!! due to his age, his value's low too, so he'll be a steal!! :D
