had a go on the ultimate team feature in the demo, tbh felt somewhat fifa 13ish, the crossing still the same, and players like reus sprinting passed the entire barca team, but so far the only real noticeable change is the players control is slightly heavier for realism, i think the passing has been the big let down so far, especially switching the ball from one full back to the other, it just has no precision what so ever like you would normally see in real life, something that was easier to do in fifa 13

probably you had your crossing controls on assisted. default is semi, basically on assisted you can't put any power into crosses like it's normally done holding down the button, and they fly over the box. given you guys were high you either accidentally changed it while setting up your controls or your mate was fckin with ya :D

I played a couple of games yesterday, first thing I noticed was the difference in shots from outside the box, whereas in Fifa 13 from a clearance from a corner, if you shot, 9 times out of 10, it would fly over, yesterday, 7 mins into my first game, this happened to me, I shot, the ball dipped and flew into the bottom corner!

One complaint is stupidity of the defenders, in a demo game yesterday, on 3 occassions, the defender would be running towards the ball which was going out for a goal kick, and they would just run in to the ball and give me a corner!

So far i've struggled on crosses, not one has found its target!! I try to give crosses like I did in 13, however, each time it went straight to the goaler no matter what i did! Is this a setting or am I just doing something wrong?

Same here with the long shots.... haven't really had trouble with the crosses but i have had trouble with defending... with FIFA 13 i'd walk up to the treat and press L2 and 0 to tackle for the ball.. this doesn't seem to work anymore...

also: lots and lots of time when i press X to pass towards a striker... the player chooses to make it look like a through ball to a different striker... what the hell man? who is playing this game?

I'm glad to say they have improved the slide tackling drastically, that was something fifa have neglected for years.

I've read a few comments about the crossing on the game, tbh i havn't had any issues with it, 2 of the 3 goals i scored from my first match i played came from crosses.
