Ferrari is one of the most promising centre-backs in Italy, and is already Parma's captain and leader. Imo he would be a brilliant signing.

i didn't want to open a new thread, but i think that we have more chances to get ferrari, after arsenal offer for lilian thuram.

    FOOTBALL ITALIA :

Lilian Thuram is said to be Arsenal’s big transfer target for the summer as the Juve man prepares to join the French Legion at Highbury.

It is reported that talks have already taken place with a proposed bid of £5.5m plus a contract until 2008.

However, this would include a reduction of his current salary, as he now earns £1.7m per season on a deal that expires in 2006.

The defender confirmed in a press conference this week that he has not had a good campaign with the Turin outfit.

The lowlight of his season was the error that handed Alberto Luque the opening goal in their 2-0 aggregate Champions’ League defeat to Deportivo La Coruna.

Juventus are preparing a massive overhaul of their squad, concentrating on the ageing back line of Paolo Montero, Ciro Ferrara and Gianluca Pessotto.

As Thuram is now 32 years old and the defender with the biggest international profile, he is likely to be sacrificed in order to bring in fresh blood.

Potential replacements are Parma duo Matteo Ferrari, who is also of interest to Manchester United, and Daniele Bonera.

selling thuram would be a blow imo.he's got experience and is as good as any defender when he's on form.

he's had such a bad season that next season can't be any worse;)

I heard that Moggi talked with Parma officials today after the game, so hopefully he secured the services of Ferrari and Gilardino, Italy's best future striker.

Ferrari Played a gr8 match against us 2oday,he is a hell of a defender :)

    Moggi PLZ Buy FERRARI
He didn't strike me as having either an exceptionally good or bad game today.

Which is probably a good thing if we're going to bid for him against other competing scouts...
