Everyone needs to relax. Conte wants to play the striker when he's truly integrated. It's better than playing him when he's not ready and makes mistakes and feels the pressure in a new team where the expectations are so high. It's a delicate period for any new player, just the initial breaking in period. Give it a but if time. But it's good to see Quag get game time ahead of Gio. Like someone correctly said, it could also be a message to the board that he wants Quag to stay and not be sold.

I'll help you with another; he's a proven good player. Currently we have two other proven good players ahead of him who are adapted to our system.

I really, really don't understand why so many are getting worked up at him not getting minutes. If he doesn't play for a month, 6 weeks, it is no big shock.
True. But that's a bit long for a player who needs some time given the quiet season he has come off. Llorente's temperament should not be affected if he doesn't break into the first team within one and half months. I sincerely hope the stories floating about aren't true, and this hopefully doesn't become an ego battle between Conte and Marrotta regards the player.

1. we were desperate to get him (or anybody else for that matter, but that beside the point)
2. he was frozen out for no reason at his old club, after all he gave to bilbao he deserved more respect than that, it was bordering inhuman to treat him like that just because he wanted a change.
3. now it's his first venture abroad and he's already shown with somewhat cold treatment from his new club who was a year ago desperate for someone like him.

cruel fate if this situation continue.

Hmmm, I'm sure you're aware this is going beyond your usual brand of trolling...
you said the same thing about llorente just like isla. "oh he didnt play. oh he'll integrate later as he becomes more fit understand our tactics"

what happened there? oh yeah conte doesnt do that. he doesnt give chances like that.

llorente is done. stop crying, grow a pair, deal with it and move on. nothing to be ashamed of.

He'll never be truly integrated without playing competitive matches. No matter how much training he gets, it just isn't the same.

He's a professional and i'd like to believe he knows his responsabilities as one. Expectation is just a part of his career.

Yes, we'll give it some time. Doesn't change the fact that the longer it takes, the harder will be to adapt.

Good point. That would make sense.

by the way vuceenic will go to his national team so i think it will be a chance for llorente to train hard for !!!2 weeks and to be a starter with inter.

I am pessimistic about llorente situation, but i wouldn't say he is finished after just 3 games on the bench. It's too early to make any conclusions, still plenty of time ahead, anything can happen, for example Vucinic can get an injury or his plane can crash or something =)

Look at Isla now, he's first choice sub.

I also think that Conte put Quag in for non-footballing reasons, either to show that he wants to keep him or to give him a farewell in front of his fans before a transfer

His reason was as understandable, as his reason for making the first sub of the last game at 85th minute - "because we dont have any midweek games"
