Yeah, I really hope he doesn't become one of those players who barely plays & when he does he doesn't play well because he lacks match sharpness (thus justifying the hate & people calling him a flop).

My guess is that Conte just didn't want to throw him into a big match right away though, he will probably be integrated into league matches first.

IMO, conte saw he needs some more polishing. Also he was coming from the international duty, while Conte had the time to prepare some of the other guys for the whole week. So is understandable that Conte prefered to go with the tested formation over the week, since there was silverware on the stake.

It isn't really fair to judge him on pre season, quite a few players were poor in the friendlies so far and he barely played last season either..

I think he is a bit too slow off and on the ball to be used in the team at the moment, but i'm sure Conte will find a way to play to his strengths. Getting in crosses from Asa and Lich will lead to goals from Llorente who will probably be the most dangerous from our strikers in that department whether they're played high or low

Not only that... but in the first 2 games of the guinnes cup, almost all our players were playing REALLY bad. So ts unfai to judge him like that when mos were doing nothing

Asa & Litch don't have good long crosses for Llorente's head. Our 3-5-2 doesn't have proper wing backs
