I'm not much of a fan of him either, but I was more of against this signing when it was last summer and we were rumoured to pay 20m and up for him, as our only improvement in attack. Now he is free and we are getting someone else to partner with him, so I'm not gonna sweat it.

He's a good target man, strong, tidy on he ball. Pretty good dribbler for his size. Finds good positions and can include teammates in play.

Wouldn't want to use him as a second striker per se. But could use him to bring a player like Higuain or Tevez into a play.

i think he is technically decent in particular with close control, more so than matri and quagliarella, i don't dislike this signing primarily because he was a free and i actually think he offers something different to what we currently have, certainly you won't see him charging down their defenders high up but he does set himself up in good attacking spaces. That said he is not the answer to our lack of fire power upfront but whether he can actually co-exist with someone like Higuain remains to be seen
