Yesterday he was warming up for 55 minutes.... He should take advantage of those extra-training minutes to get in shape...

He won't be playing again unless Aduriz gets injured.
Honestly, that doesn't worry me too much. Physically he'll be fine by the time he joins us. Mentally? that could be a problem.

The guy went from scoring 30 goals in a Season to going through a hell of a soap opera in the next and warming the bench for most of it.

He'll be lacking the goal scoring spirit needed for any top striker. let's hope he finds it again and fast.

It'd be pretty sad to watch this guy turn into another Torres. *knocks on wood*

After a season on the bench and not being played, he will be even hungrier for goals and to show that he can perform at a high level

Hope you're right. :hustini: Run, Fernando, run!
:D

And to be honest, what he's going through right now can give a solid pointer to whether or not he's a true champion. He's going through a rough time by being treated poorly, and it's been going on for quite awhile. If he succumbs to depression and defeatism and works less on the training ground than he should (which would be understandable all things considered), then it may indicate that he's not a champion. If he can stay focused on his Juve-future and work his ass off in training every day, then he will have shown the mindset of a champ.
