One way or the other Conte will settle the defence, but there is nothing he can do turn Giovinco,Matri and Vucinic into scoring machines.
This issue has been neglected for far too long!

He'll still be better than anything juve have
I would beg to differ on this one. If Quag is on top of his game he could be exactly what Juve needs and in the long run too... Llorente is a risk and isn't much better than Matri last season [[when he was doing decent before the winter break]]... Juventus need a 20+ goalscorer, not a max 15 goals in the likes of Llorente. Juve already have plenty of that kind of players.

IF and WHEN is all I can see here.

You think that Quaq can score 20+ goals?

Llorente is definitely better than Matri and Quagliarella, but he's not some superstar either. What we really need is someone like Jovetic.

Perhaps they can pull something out of the Army Field Manual to get him. Stage a terror attack on Jovetic, then blame it on Andrea Della Valle.

I don't understand the interest in Jovetic. He's a second striker, not a target man, and that's what we need, a target man. Jovetic no doubt is loaded with talent but he's not the kind of talent we need.

So you're saying he won't be an upgrade on what we already have!? Llorente and jovetic hopefully will be our attacking line for next season. And łets get rid of the "cardboard cut outs" of the others strikers we have, cos it looks to me these days that penalties and sending off of oppositions isn't enough these days.

I would do anything for that attacking line, but it's not realistic. I can't see Jovetic coming to Juve, and for that matter any forward of his stature. I think the only way we can get a top forward is by finding that top forward before people realize how good he is. Marotta has found a lot of talent no-one really knew about for cheap, like Vidal. It sucks that things are this way but they just are.

The if is a variable that is really in Conte's hands. We can't blame Quag for not playing enough, but if given a chance, I think he would be a at least a 15-17 goal striker in our setup. But starting once a month coupled with stop start cameos are not helping him. Conte needs to settle his attacking line up if he wants his strikers being comfortable in the game. Like a lot of people would blame Matri for today's perfoemance, but id say it's entirely possible for a striker to come up short in the circumstances hes facing. Conte is partly responsible for the issues he faces in the attacking department.
