We can't really know that, and I wouldn't say Jovetic is a higher calibre signing than Nando, not yet anyways.
I just don't like that he's oldish and on the decline now, when his best was never that great to begin with. I mean, I don't expect him to be better for us than he was for Bilbao, which will mean that our attack can still do with some improving (unlike the other departments of our team).

so we'd look like this next season:

    Buffon
    Storari
    Rubinho or other 3rd keeper

    Barzagli
    Caceres
    Bonucci
    Marrone(or new CB)
    Chiellini
    Dória
    Lichtsteiner
    Isla
    Asamoah
    Peluso

    Vidal
    Pogba
    Pirlo
    Marchisio
    Giaccherini
    Pepe
    CM/DM(or Marrone)

    Vucinic
    Giovinco
    Llorente
    Quagliarella or new ST/SS
    Matri or new ST/SS/Immobile/Gabbiadini/Boakye

    - De Ceglie would be sold for about 5m, Matri and Quag could be sold for a total of 14-15m. That's 20m in the bag.

    - Asamoah/Isla/Peluso to be optioned so that's about 22m €.

Almost even and we got the rest of the budget for a CB, CM or Winger, other half of the youngsters and maybe a good forward.

    Some clarifications?
-Why keep Peluso and not DC?
-How much can we make out of MAtri?
-Why should we buy yet another CM???
-How much Boscchetti would cost this summer?

Both of them will stay as they are good squad players. We can't have 22 star players. The wages would be through the roof.

I forgot about him, we could either keep him for cover or sell to Genoa...

we could then sign freebies like Diakité/Kirchhoff or buy Neto for the CB position, Moussa Sissoko for the mid and go big on a forward like Sanchez/JoJo or my boy Isco that could play SS or behind a CF.

Matt, have you been infected with Croncovitis or something? Stop trolling man. Llorente is 27, reaching his peak in terms of years. The last season he got minutes on the pitch he led his team to the EL final. A rather mediocre Bilbao team, at that.

    - Because Juve think Peluso is better.
    - ~8m
    - because after Pogba we use Giaccherini there and he's not a pure CM. A cheap option likePoli/Obiang or a free Moussa Sissoko wouldn't hurt.
    - He'd be free if we sign him in next year's mercato session. If we want him before 2-4m.

DC will probably ask to play more and get sold.

I can't stress enough of what an amazing this deal would be for free. It'll be difficult to get him this month though, seeing as Bilbao don't have any backup to their forwards.

Can we stop derailing the thread with personal attacks. I only come here to talk about Juve... Oops, I mean...

27, 28 is generally peak for strikers. He should be at his best now, won't be getting any better. To say he led them there is quite an exaggeration :D 7 goals is great, but if that's the pinnacle of his career, then you can see why I won't be excited. I'm not against it either, just indifferent.

I think his point is that Jovetic has world class potential while Llorente has passed the getting any better stage and this is his prime.
