I'm not sure signing Llorente and offloading Matri will be in our best interests. Llorente is a good finisher, but he's slow. Not Amauri-slow, but slow. There are no guarantees he'll do well in Serie-A. On the contrary, I expect him to struggle.
Why would his lack of pace be a problem?

vieri's peak >>>>> toni's peak>>>llorente

Pace is allways a handy weapon, but for this kind of targetmen/poachers, reaction speed and ability to fend of the ball is more important

I miss zlatan up front. he was such a beast, tall, strong, massive technique and impossible to get of the ball.

We would win the CL if we had him

Zlatan chokes, if you build the team around him, for CL games.
same thing goes for pirlo in away games

If he is just a part of our team, as massive targetman+creativity+technique, but not the center of the team, he would lift the team incredibly much.

he doesnt need to score them, we got plenty of scoring in other area's, but the added value of zlatan up front in buildup, would be amazing

also, if milan didnt have a half team injured, and a barcelonafavoring reff, they would have gone far

and zlatan playd a big part in that

Is there anyone with a properly informed opinion of Llorente? I've barely seen him play to be honest. I really wish we pushed hard for Dzeko when City weren't wanting him.

Because I don't think he has the striker's ability to make up for it. "Peak Toni" (love that name, Suns) was simply a far better striker, and could live with not being pacy. And as JCK correctly pointed out, he always had very fast reactions.

His brother/agent " Italy? Why not, the Italian championship is a great league and Fernando wants to play there. Juventus is a big club like Inter, Milan, Manchester City and so on, we'll see what happens in January "

" In the summer Juventus wanted him but Athletic Bilbao didn't want to sell unless they got his release clause "

Once upon a time, we had him! Guess what? We didn't win the CL back then ;)
