No because everything Marotta does is justifiable in one way or another, nothing Marotta does is wrong or rash.
In a sense everything is indeed justifiable. People around here have a hard time understanding that shit happens and that's not necessarily Marotta's fault.

I'm not saying he can't make mistakes nor that he's been perfect so far. But we haven't even got the slightest clue of what's exactly going on yet does that stop people from blaming Marotta and labeling him incompetent?

All I'm saying is that we're the undefeated champions of Italy right now and we've only strengthened this summer. Of course I would be happier if Dzeko/Llorente arrives but I won't be cutting my veins if otherwise.

We strengthened, I am with you on that but we did not strengthen what needs strengthening most...at least not yet ... and Pazzini is weakening if anything.

If I was him I would've splashed 40M on Cavani right at the start of the mercato and solve our problems in the attack. Right now it is impossible after our relationship with Napoli got worse and other clubs willing to cash in for Cavani.

The undermentioned link tends to indicate that Fernando Llorente is all but 'nailed on' as a new addition to the Juventus squad as far as the bookmakers odds are concerned.

At present it must be quite a traumatic time for the Basque club with Bayern on the verge of completing a deal for the signature of midfielder Javi Martinez.

Bookmakers. :touched:

They had us as favorites for Kun last year.

Yeah, strange strategy of Marotta. I mean, I agree that we should not overpay but he has to realise that he can not pull out a Vidal deal very often. For some players he simply has to splash the cash.
Let's not forget that the only reason the Vidal deal happened is because Marotta failed to sign Nainggolan, and then Behrami. The Vidal signing was happy luck that he turned out to be a champion.

Wrong. After failibg for Inler. He signed Padoin in the winter mercato after he failed to sign Nainggolan and Behrami.

:sergio: Before this winter when he, again, tried to sign Nainggolan and Behrami, after failing to do so last summer, he then signed Padoin. Last summer he tried to get Nainggolan, then Behrami - after failing on both- then signed Vidal.

True.

The way I see it, we've struggled to come to terms with the current environment these last two summers. We aimed high in trying to get us a quality striker to lead the attack but were ultimately reluctant to do what it takes to sign one.

Still, two weeks to go...
