Tottenham will launch a bid for Fernando Llorente once Luka Modric has completed his move to Real Madrid, reports AS.
Well, Llorente would be stupid if he leaves Bilbao for Spurs. What's the point of leaving an average team for another, Spurs aren't going to reach CHL anytime soon, let alone win something.

how sound good are spurs financially?

because if he accepts them it would mean he was offered a good salary. but would we be able to compete? i think max Juve can offer is 5 mill yearly, and that's pushing it so spurs would have to offer a significant increase over that.

They can definitely offer higher wages than we do. Then we have to remember the fact that Marotta pulls out immediately when bidding wars start.

3 EPL clubs are ready to match the 36M requested transfer fee from Bilbao. for a player in his last year of the contract? I hope they pay and he flops hard.

BULLSHID! None but Juve are bidding here. And if Tottenham are they can already forget all about it - he's leaving because he wants to win something.. This is so not true and they source here might be Llorente's agent or some Bilbao asshol3 in order to raise the offer..

I say we stick to a maximum of whatever we want to offer and ignore all BH rumors like these.

1 The player wants out
2 the player wants gold
3 there's only one place he can go!!
Wrong.

Barcelona and Real Madrid has been wanting Llorente for a year now.

:sergio:

New style of football, new country, new challenge, new league, new coach, new teammates, new experiences.

And that Spurs shouldn't be a serious bid for one of the CL-spots, well that just shows a lack of knowledge of Premier League.
