Soon as Klin and I got the Bonucci ava, he got acquitted of all charges when it was pretty certain he'd be banned for up to three years. Meanwhile, Hustini had a Conte avatar and at the same time, most people were confident he'd only get three months. Lo and behold, he gets 10 months. Not to mention he also had a Jovetic avatar and it looked certain we'd get him too. Look what happened there.
Correction: I was asked long before his judgement to take the av down, which I did per JCKs request.

Don't forget Dzeko and his classic posts in the Juventuz Live Thread during matches.

He's a jinx and he knows it, which is confirmed by the fact that now he's sporting a Llollo avatar.

Still love him. Don't take this wrong, Hust.

Of course I want Llorente. I just want a new striker. :D

At this point, I'd be happy with either, really. Beggars can't be choosers. ;)
Relieved more like. Just want my closure. Cant go from happy to sad three times a day.

With headlines like:

RVP no,1 target. Marrotta in London but don't forget track Dzeko.
Three contenders for top player: RVP, Suarez, Cavani but hard to forget track Dzeko.
Two contenders for top player: RVP. JoJo but don't forget track Dzeko.
RVP the call from United, it is done. Juve look elsewhere.
Jovetic absent form Fiorentina training, but don't forget track Dzeko.
And finally, Llorente, Marrotta opens, Bilbao comes top player. But don't forget track Dzeko.
Llorente, official offer soon. In the crosshairs Dzeko.
Forget track Dzeko. Llorente, is Marrotta's champion.
Forget track Llorente, Marrotta cancels tip with negotiation at 20m. Juve maxi offer. Atletico want 20.1m.
Pazzini alla Juve. Top champion arrives, Quagliarella e Matri sent in exchange.

My heart can't take it anymore. Just fucking sign.

The things is, Marotta never promised us a big signing in attack. It's all just media speculation and us fans dreaming.

I do believe that we'll sign someone good upfront by end August though.

Common!! Of course he did. There could be no bigger indication of that promise thn Agnelli's interview. The LCD one. These guys talk too much for their own good I'd like to think. I'm pretty sure at least 80 pct of us would likely interpret their words and interviews as us being in the market for a top player by market standards. It's another matter altogether that we align ourselves to certain realities, but that cannot be an excuse every season, especially not one in which we are champs and are so far among the highest spenders in Europe, going by some figures posted on here behind thhe likes of PsG and Chelsea.

Us fans interpret everything as we like to believe. I do think we are truly after a top striker, but we're mostly keeping an eye on our budget and hoping to find a club which agrees to our financial terms.

I honestly doubt Marotta would risk going anything further than €20M/€25M for a striker right now. I don't entirely disagree neither.

Na, I tend to disagree there. Given how dynamic the market is, we've got to play it for how it fills our need gaps. I would be perfectly ok if Cavani was available for 30m and we splashed the cash. Let's not forget the biggest players in our recent history have been bought for big money. Seeing how last year ended up, and with a dire need for a such a specialised position you have to loosen the purse strings because if it is filled in properly it is likely to afford the club great precision in its play. Espesh in a season where we intend to not just participate but compete on three fronts.

Btw, the sun is reporting that Tottenham are willing to pay 25m for Llorente. That should rule us out, its going to come down to Edin on a loan on the last day of the mercato. Say wau.

Why would he go to Tottenham, they dont play CL so that is our advantage

So we should overpay for players because others are doing so? Nah, Marotta won't do it.
Its really about creating leverage and equity for the image of your team. I doubt anybody would know Juve if it wasn't for Buffon and Pirlo today, whose not identified with Juve in the way people identify him with Milan. The idea when paying money is signing the kind of player who gives you a makeover in two ways. Image and appeal. RVP for example despite certain risks would have had the potential to do that. We bought Nedved and Buffon for more than 30m euros so it really isn't big money by today's standards. Today's markets seem inflated because a lot more deals tend to go through on a 45m figure, which back in the day was what you'd pay for a guy like Zizou. My point is, yes, initially it seems like a lot of money, but when you sign a marquee player, more often than not he pays for himself. Shirt sales, helps the tea, appeal to a wider fan base, and just as importantly, when the young starlets hit their stride they have a reference point that keeps them connected to the club. Like Alex was to many young kids back in the day, like Messi will perhaps be to the kids coming into the game 3-4 years from now. Juve at this point lack that reference point. Yes, Gigi, Pirlo, even to a lesser extent Marchisio and Vidal are potential stars, but you'll notice, everybody's idols tend to be the players who play up top.

Dunno at this point. Appeal of the Epl may see, greater, they'll also in all likelihood give him a better wage. We'll be counting on CL and Juve's appeal as the bigger club.

The guy may talk b0llocks at times but he has a point. Players nowadays get lured by money and prestigious clubs doesn't exist anymore. Apart from players who want to make a name fir themselves. Aguero is a prime example. Like seriously......who the fuck wants to play for Manchester City. Realistically think about it. As a kid it's the club I wanted to play for not the money.
