Look, at the end of the day, there are a couple of things to consider.


#1) Either striker would be a huge improvement over what Juve currently has


#2) Juve cannot afford to sit and wait and hope and pray that man City maybe, potentially, possibly, hopefully, puts Dzeko on the market.

How is he more efficient?

Llorente: 236 games, 79 goals for AB (from 2005 to present)
Dzeko: 111 games, 66 goals for Wolfsburg (in only 4 season with ze Germans)

When Dzeko gets consistent playing time, he outscores the Spaniard easily. And Dzeko is a year younger.

I think it is too simplistic to compare goals to games.

For example for Spain, Llorente is not a starter and often comes on late in games so many of his 20 caps will have been for less than a half of football. Whereas Dzeko is a key man for Bosnia and will start every game.

Similarly for Dzeko he was bought by Wolfsburg to be a starter and so is likely to have played more full matches than Llorente who was raised by Bilbao and would no doubt have been slowly introduced as a youngster into their team. In the last 3 seasons he scored 72 in 144 games (0.5 per game). In the same time Dzeko has scored 65 in 128 games (0.5 per game)(although some of this rate is when he was at city and not used as much, but you could argue City create far more chances that Bilbao).

So pretty similar ratio, but like I said probably too simplistic to look at stats, and better to evaluate who is more suited to the way we play.

Total goals for the top 20 players in their respective leagues:

Spain: 345 goals
England: 301 goals
Germany: 302 goals
Italy: 297 goals


No league offers more goals than La Liga. Plain and simple. I can't dumb it down anymore for you.
