Absolutely, there was one half-season (starting from the 0-0 Bayern game in december 09) when I felt Melo was the only thing to keep us alive. Ferrara's horrific 3-4-1-2 or whatever the heck it was, with Legrotaglie, Grygera, Grosso, Poulsen, :shifty:

actually melo is a cool guy, but not a great footballer. his only skill is to tackle and then pass the ball in a 3-meter area. (yes, i've seen his assist to robinho against the netherlands, that was by far the best attacking moment of his mediocre career.) still, i was kind of sad to see him leave, i thought he could have worked fine as a vidal backup when arturo was exhausted.

imagine a 4-2-3-1 at inter with melo and kondogbia as dm's. that's like at least 10 tackles (and a yellow) per games. they could be stronger than lopez-inler at nipples.
